Early Life and Qur’anic Beginnings
Ustatha Amira Taha developed a deep love for the Qur’an and Islamic knowledge and chose to dedicate her life to teaching the Book of Allah. Although she studied science earlier in her academic journey, she later decided to focus fully on Qur’an teaching and Islamic studies, believing this path to be her true calling.
Quranic Studies and Tajweed Learning
By the grace of Allah, Ustatha Amira holds an Ijazah in Qur’an recitation in the narration of Hafs. She studied Tajweed using recognized texts, including Ghayat Al-Mureed, and completed Noor Al-Bayan and other Qur’anic and Islamic training courses. These studies strengthened her ability to teach clear and correct recitation.
Teaching Experience and Serving Non-Arabic Speakers
Ustatha Amira has many years of teaching experience, including teaching Qur’an, Tajweed, and Islamic studies to non-Arabic speakers at Noor Al-Quran School. Alhamdulillah, she has also worked as a trainer, helping prepare new teachers to teach non-Arabic learners. She has taught students both offline and online, guiding learners of all ages with patience and care.
Teaching Approach and Student Support
Her teaching style is warm and supportive. She treats her students with respect and kindness, seeing them as brothers and sisters in Islam. Along with Qur’an and Tajweed, she teaches Tafseer, Fiqh, and Seerah, explaining meanings in simple English to help students understand and connect deeply with the Qur’an.
