Ahmed Maher Al-Attar hails from Kafr El-Sheikh, Egypt. From a young age, he immersed himself in the study of the Quran and Arabic sciences. His passion for the Quran led him to pursue advanced studies in Qirāʾāt and Tajweed, gaining deep knowledge rooted in authentic transmission.
Quranic Mastery and Ijazah
Ahmed holds multiple Ijazahs in the Ten Qirāʾāt (both minor and major forms), with unbroken chains of narration (Sanad) reaching back to the Prophet Muhammad. His notable teachers include Sheikh Ali Al-Nairi Al-Arabi and Sheikh Misbah Al-Desouqi. He has also earned Ijazahs in foundational texts such as Tuhfat Al-Atfal, Al-Jazariyyah, and advanced Arabic grammar works like Al-Ajrumiyyah, Qatr al-Nada, and Sharh Ibn Aqil.
