Sheikh Amr Al-Badri was born in Saf Center, Giza Governorate, and grew up in a distinguished
Quranic environment that nurtured his excellence in memorization and recitation. He completed
the memorization of the entire Holy Quran at the age of thirteen under the guidance of Sheikh
Adel Badr, who played a significant role in establishing his strong foundation in Quranic
memorization and Tajweed from an early age.
Journey in Quranic Readings and Certifications:
After completing his memorization, Sheikh Amr Al-Badri embarked on an exceptional scholarly
journey in the study of Quranic readings and their certifications. He received multiple Ijazahs
(certificates of mastery) with the highest chains of transmission connected to the Prophet
Muhammad (peace be upon him), making him one of the prominent scholars in this field

- Ijazah in Hafs narration from Asim: Awarded by Sheikh Misbah bin Waden, one of the students of Sheikh Al-Fadhli Ali Abu Layla, a prominent scholar of Quranic recitation.
- Second Ijazah in Hafs narration from Asim: Obtained from Sheikh Abdul Fattah Madkour, one of the last students of Sheikh Al-Dabba’, and holder of the highest chain of narration in Egypt.
- Ijazah in Asim’s reading: Awarded by Sheikh Dr. Abdul Basit Hashem, one of the leading scholars of Quranic recitation globally.
- Ijazah in the Seven Readings: Received from Sheikh Muhammad Younis Al-Ghalban, one of the students of Sheikh Al-Fadhli Ali Abu Layla.
- Ijazah in the Ten Minor and Major Readings: Granted by Sheikh Misbah Al-Dasuqi, a prominent scholar and student of Sheikh Al-Fadhli Ali Abu Layla.
