Early Life and Quranic Beginnings

Ustatha Hajar Khaled El-Sayed, grew up in a Quranic environment that nurtured her love for the Book of Allah from a very young age. Surrounded by the words of the Qur’an, she was inspired to begin memorization early in her childhood. By the grace of Allah, she successfully completed the memorization of the entire Qur’an.

Quran Memorization and Tajweed Learning

Her journey did not stop at memorization. Two years ago, Ustatha Hajar obtained her Ijazah in the narration of Hafs from ‘Asim through the route of Al-Shatibiyyah. This milestone strengthened her mastery of Tajweed, enhanced her recitation skills, and deepened her spiritual connection to the Qur’an.

Certifications and Academic Development

After receiving her Ijazah, Ustatha Hajar dedicated herself to teaching Qur’an to Arabic-speaking students, focusing on perfecting recitation, applying Tajweed rules, and improving memorization. She later enrolled in the Faculty of Languages and Translation at Al-Azhar University with the clear mission of expanding her teaching to non-Arabic speakers.

Teaching Experience and Serving Non-Arabic Speakers

Her teaching journey began with Arabic-speaking students and has since grown to include students from different countries. Alhamdulillah, she now teaches Qur’an, Tajweed, Arabic language, and Islamic studies to non-Arabic speakers, helping them overcome language barriers and guiding them toward correct and heartfelt recitation.
